ELSTER (Elektronische Steuererklärung) is the Finanzverwaltung's online portal for submitting tax returns electronically. You create an account, receive a certificate file by post, log in with the certificate, and submit your Einkommensteuererklärung including Anlage V. Anlage V Easy generates a Zeile-by-Zeile mapping so you can copy values straight into ELSTER.
